Qigong is a movement practice along the lines of Tai Chi. The intention, however, is for holistic healing and not self-defense. Sheng Zhen Qigong combines both the slow, flowing movements as in Tai Chi with fast, intense movements. The practice is highly dynamic and addresses health and well-being holistically. There is emphasis on the physical body, the emotions, the mind, and the spirit. In addition to the body movements, there is an associated philosophy of unconditional love and the qigong state, a state of connection with earth, heaven, and the universe.
